It is believed that both planets share a common origin forming at the same time around 4.5 billion years ago. Option 2 shows 2 shaded circles with similar sizes. Hence, this is the correct answer.

The other 3 options depict varying sizes of the planets earth and Venus. Hence, options 1, 3 and 4 are incorrect.
